Contrasting Soils. Unfiltered Terroir.
From the sun-baked red clay of the Shan plateau to the monsoon-misted coastal shores of Mon State, TABAWA bottles the raw, honest character of Myanmar’s diverse microclimates.

Sun-Baked Red Clay
Rising twelve hundred meters above sea level, the Shan highlands experience dramatic temperature swings. Grapes absorb intense alpine sun by day, resting in cool mountain air by night.
1,200m
Elevation
The ancient, iron-rich soils of the plateau drain rapidly, forcing vine roots deep into the fractured limestone beneath.

Monsoon-Misted Shores
Where the tropical maritime breeze meets coastal hills, our white varietals thrive under a canopy of sea mist. This unique environment yields a crisp, saline character found nowhere else.
The sea mist leaves an honest, salty trace on the grape skins, fermenting into a vibrant, wild salinity.

Honoring Raw Soil Diversity
We practice minimal intervention, allowing the wild fermentation of both highland clay and coastal silt to express themselves without filtration. Every bottle preserves the honest sediment of its origin.
By letting the seasons dictate our small-batch yields, we capture the true agricultural heritage of Myanmar, untouched by synthetic additives or industrial processes.
TABAWA
